PBA: GlobalPort stays unbeaten, slays Star Hotshots

Omar Krayem had 22 points off the bench, while Terrence Romeo added 17 as the GlobalPort Batang Pier remained unbeaten with a 91-89 victory against the Star Hotshots.

Stanley Pringle also added 15 markers, while Steve Thomas had 12.

The two teams headed into the final two minutes tied 87-all, before Terrence Romeo converted to put GlobalPort ahead. Misses from James Yap and Mark Barroca greeted the final minute, but Romeo missed consecutive shots at the other end. A Pringle make with 12 ticks left put the game away for the Batang Pier.

Marqus Blakely had 19 points and 17 boards for the Hotshots, while James Yap had 12 in 26 minutes on the floor. Alex Mallari chipped in 11, while PJ Simon led the bench scoring with 10. Mark Barroca and Justin Melton tallied nine and eight points, respectively. - RAF, GMA News
