Pacquiao to play in PBA All-Star Weekend


Even before his ring return, Manny Pacquiao will make his comeback in the sporting world via an event during this weekend's PBA All-Star extravaganza.

Pacquiao will represent the Mahindra Enforcers in the Blitz Game on Friday for the Stalwarts squad.

The former boxing champion, who was elected to the Senate last May, will replace his injured teammate LA Revilla in the lineup, He will play alongside up-and-coming young stars Chris Banchero, David Semerad, and Raymond Almazan, D-League players Mike Tolomia, Russel Escoto, Raphael Banal, and Carl Bryan Cruz, and legends Alvin Patrimonio, Nic Belasco, Ronnie Magsanoc, and Topex Robinson.

The Enforcers playing coach is also back on the active roster of Mahindra. He is eligible to play in their game against Alaska on Wednesday.

Pacquiao hasn't played in the PBA since the Philippine Cup last year. —JST, GMA News
