Warriors fan Pacquiao to walk from GenSan to Sarangani if Cavs win

Manny Pacquiao is confident that the Golden State Warriors won't be blowing an NBA Finals lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers anytime soon.

The senator and Filipino boxing icon has been a Golden State fan having forged a relationship with Warriors star guard Stephen Curry through the years.

So confident was Pacquiao that the Cavaliers won't pull off any comeback that he has a bet going with some members of his entourage.

"'Pag nag-champion Cavs, maglalakad ako mula GenSan to Tinoto, malayo 'yon," said Pacquiao in a report by Mav Gonzales on "24 Oras" on Monday.

A quick check on Google Maps shows Tinoto to be 30.6 kilometers — or six hours by foot — from General Santos City.

The Warriors currently have a 3-1 lead over the Cavaliers, with the chance to win the series on Monday (Tuesday morning PHL time) at their homecourt.

Pacquiao said he had seen all these coming.

"Prediction ko 4-1 bago pa maglaro 'yung Cleveland at Warriors sa Finals," he said. —JST, GMA News
