Erram, Belo lead the way as Blackwater stuns Ginebra

Poy Erram and Mac Belo scored 22 points each as the Blackwater Elite stunned Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 94-77, on Friday at the MOA Arena in Pasay City.

Allein Maliksi added 17 off the bench, while Mike Digregorio and Raymar Jose chipped in eight apiece as starters.

The two teams finished the opening period tied at 19-all, before Blackwater established an eight-point lead at the half, 41-33.

The Gin Kings were able to close the gap in the third, trimming the lead to just three heading into the payoff period, 64-61, but Blackwater pulled away in the fourth, leaning on a 30–16 blast to end the game and earn the victory.

Ginebra relied heavily on their starters, with Greg Slaughter gunning for 20 points. LA Tenorio and Japeth Aguilar combined for 30 points, while Scottie Thompson chipped in 12. — BAP, GMA News
