Pacquiao invites Bradley to Bible study after fight

Last year, Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao tried to invite Floyd Mayweather Jr. to a Bible study session after losing to the American boxer in the "Fight of the Century."

Pacman revealed in an interview that he tried reaching out to his rival, but his phone appeared to be turned off when he made the call.

This time, however, he managed to personally invite Timothy Bradley right after dominating him in their bout on Sunday (PHL time) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

"Bradley, he's a nice guy, a good man," Pacquiao said about his foe. "In fact I invited him tomorrow with our Bible study."

Pacquiao lost to Bradley via controversial split decision in their first meeting in 2012. He avenged that loss in their rematch, and then ended the trilogy with two knockdowns en route to a unanimous decision win.

Pacman said that despite their history, the two of them are friends outside of the sport and Bradley even said he will try to make it to their Bible study session.

"This is boxing. We don't hate each other outside the ring," he said. "We entertain people, we give exciting fights for the people. That's just our job." — RSJ, GMA News
