17-year-old lass sings RP nat'l anthem in Pacman-Diaz bout


Seventeen-year-old Nicole Angela Judalena sang the Philippine national anthem before the "Lethal Combination" showdown between Manny Pacquiao and David Diaz at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday (Philippine time). It was Eric Pineda, Pacquiao’s business manager, who discovered Judalena who went to the set of GMA Network's "Pinoy Records" where she auditioned and sang in front of Pacquiao. Jasmin Villegas, meanwhile sang the US national anthem "Star Spangled Banner." Fourteen-year-old Villegas is a Filipino-Mexican-American who lives in San Jose, California. She also sang in Pacquiao's previous fight with Juan Manuel Marquez also in Las Vegas. Villegas appears in US television shows such as Disney's "That's so Raven." She also starred in Touchstone Pictures' "My Wife and Kids." - GMANews.TV
