In the men's division, the Philippines opened its campaign with a win against Mexico (17-12), before dropping the next two against Finland (17-4) and Canada (17-5).

The mixed team is scheduled to play Japan and South Africa on Tuesday, before they go up against Russia and France on Wednesday. The men's team has one more assignment on Tuesday against Colombia, before the tournament wraps up its round robin stage.
