June 4, 2009 11:18pm
MANILA, Philippines - President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has offered Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez another post in the government, a radio report said Thursday.

Radio dzBB's Teresa Tavares quoted Gonzalez as saying that he was offered to become presidential legal adviser.

Gonzalez reportedly said President Arroyo has expressed concern that he may be experiencing fatigue because of his job. He was quoted as saying that he is still considering whether to accept the offer or not.

The offer was revealed two days after Gonzalez confirmed his political plans for 2010. He had said that he would quit his post on November so he could prepare for the mayoral race in Iloilo. - Aie Balagtas See, GMANews.TV
