MANILA, Philippines - Six people, three of them reportedly relatives of Sen. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., were killed on Sunday night after a traffic altercation turned into a family feud in Imus, Cavite, a television report said.

GMA News’ Susan Enriquez said the fatalities include Raul Bautista; his two sons Ritchie Allan and Raffy; friend Michael Salanguit; and traders Mamud Sultan and Waib Sali.

A report on dzRH radio said the incident occurred near the Imus Public Market at about 9 p.m.

In an interview with Enriquez, Bautista’s daughter, Tracy, said the scuffle between the two parties started when his father got stuck at traffic on Nueno highway in Imus.

Tracy said Ali, whose vehicle was behind their jeep, repeatedly honked the horns at them, prompting her father to get out of their vehicle and confront Sali when they reached the market.

PO1 Dennis Magsaysay told Enriquez that Bautista and his group left the scene, only to return with a few others later on.

"Nung nagkaraoon ng pagtatalo sa [grupo] ng Muslim at tsaka tropang Bautista, umalis po yung tropang Bautista. Siguro nagkaroon sila ng usapain na hindi maganda. Bumalik after few minutes... ‘yun na nagkaroon na ng palitan ng putok," he said.

Tracy said her father brought with him her two brothers and Salinguit when it went back to the market.

GMA News tried but failed to get the side of Ali’s relatives.

The police meanwhile said they have yet to come up with a witness.

A radio report said Sali and Raffy died on the spot, while Raul, Ritchi Allen and Sultan were declared dead on arrival at the hospital. Salinguit was declared in critical condition before succumbing to gun shot wounds.

Recovered from the scene of the incident were 40 empty mortar shells and 9-mm berretta. - - GMANews.TV
