At least six people were killed while 19 were wounded after figuring in a freak road accident in Buguias town in Benguet province Thursday afternoon.

Radio dwIZ reported Friday that the victims were going home after a family reunion in a neighboring town when their pickup fell into a ravine after being hit by a rock.

The fatalities were initially identified as Floro Wayan, Noel Salyo, Lorenza Tayog and Lolit Puacan who died on the spot; and Lito Tuatan and Joan Mallones, who were declared dead on arrival at the Lutheran Hospital in Buguias town.
