Fire of undetermined origin hit a residential area in Malabon City before noon Wednesday.

Radio dzXL reported the fire started at 11:18 a.m. at a house in Dampalit village and quickly spread in the neighborhood.

No one was initially reported injured in the fire, which was confined and placed under control shortly after noon.

The fire reached the fifth alarm, prompting firefighters from the Caloocan-Malabon-Navotas-Valenzuela (Camanava) area to rush to the site.
