MELBOURNE, Australia â Four-time Olympic cycling gold medalist Sir Chris Hoy hopes to defer retirement until after the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow when he can bow out in front of a home crowd. Hoy, who is in Melbourne to compete the Track Cycling World Cup, won three of his four Olympic gold medals at Beijing in 2008, becoming the most successful male track cyclist in history. But he hopes to add to his gold medal tally at the 2012 London Olympics before ending his career two years later in his native Scotland. Hoy said to win a gold medal in front of a home crowd would be "the last thing I haven't done really in my career." He said he could retire now "really happy with a full career." â AP
