iGMA.TV: Ely Buendia's birthday concert on GMA 7’s SNBO

The millions of fans of OPM rock icon Ely Buendia will definitely have a blast as GMA Network airs the rare and intimate birthday concert party of the superstar singer and songwriter dubbed as ELY BUENDIA XL Xtra Live at 40 on Sunday, December 12. This first and never-to-be-repeated solo concert of Ely features the past two decades of his colorful and successful musical career with special guest performances from his old and new friends in the industry. Viewers will witness Ely's thrilling performances with his band Pupil and Dope Militia as he revisits songs from his collaboration album with Francis Magalona, In Love and War songs from his solo album Wanted: Bedspacer; and some of his personal favorites and selected Eraserheads hit singles like Sembreak, Magasin and Ang Huling El Bimbo. One of the highlights of Ely’s birthday concert that will certainly get the viewers heart racing when ex-Eraserheads drummer Raimund Marasigan jammed with the celebrant onstage as they performed, "Saturn Return" from the 1998 Eraserheads compilation album, Aloha Milkyway.
