UPLB, PUP grads top Civil Engineering Licensure Exam passers

Graduates from the University of Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB) and Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) in Sta. Mesa, Manila, topped this year's Civil Engineering Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday.

Bryan Yulo Dela Cruz (UPLB) and Ruben Diaz Llagas Jr. (PUP) both got 96.30 ratings in the exam given by the Board of Civil Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi earlier this month, the PRC said.

A total of 1,195 out of 3,117 examinees passed the exam, the PRC said. [Click here for complete list of passers.]

6. Felixberto Omambac Florida Jr. from University of San Carlos and Jaypee Dabela Maquinad from PUP-Sta Mesa (93.85)

7. Hana Astrid Reyes Canseco from University of San Carlos and Jason Acido Paoueo from Mindanao State University-Marawi City (93.15)

8. Paul Andrew Famorcan Fajilagot from University of Batangas and Ivan dela Llana Marquez from Mapua Institute of Technology (92.80)

9. Conrad Argarin Flores from PUP-Sta. Mesa (92.65)

10. Branford Carta Beroña from Technological Institute of the Philippines-Quezon City (92.55)

The PRC said the oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees, as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held on June 18, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the SMX Convention Center, Seashell Lane, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. - KBK, GMA News
