Makikibahagi ang nangungunang broadcast station sa bansa na GMA Network sa masayang Tuna Festival sa General Santos City simula sa Biyernes.
Sa umaga nitong Biyernes (10:00 am), maghahandog ng “Serbisyong Totoo Docu-Fest" ang most awarded broadcast news organization sa bansa na GMA News and Public Affairs. Sa pangunguna ni GMA News reporter Cesar Apolinario (co-host ng GMA News TV’s “I Juander"), ang mga makabuluhang dokumentaryo ay mapapanood sa Cinema 6 ng KCC Mall sa Gensan. Susundan ito ng “Kapuso Barangayan: Serbisyong Totoo Hatid ng GMA News and Public Affais," na gagawin sa covered court ng Brgy. San Jose. Bahagi ng "Kapuso Barangayan" ang feeding program sa 150 selected recipients, at free clinic services sa 150 beneficiaries.
Magkakaroon din ng bloodletting activity sa pakikipagtulungan ng Philippine Red Cross. Papainitin naman ng Bubble Gang sexy actress-comedienne na si Rufa Mae Quinto ang “Karagatan Awards" sa gabi ng Biyernes. Sa Sabado, makakasama sa “Mr. and Ms. Gensan 2011 Finals" ang Iglot lead star na si Claudine Barreto bilang pageant judge. Nandoon din ang Kapuso leading man na si Mike Tan, at magsisilbing hosts sina Kapuso actor Victor Aliwalas at GMA Cebu's Anna Maris Igpit. Maghahatid naman ng kasiyahan sa “Tuna Festival: Kapuso Night" sa Linggo ng gabi (6:00 pm) sa Convention and Events Center sa GenSan KCC Mall, sina Claudine, Patrick Garcia, Luis Alandy, Milkcah Wynne Nacion. Sina Rich Asuncion ng Sisid at John Feir ang magsisilbing host.
