Travelers visiting at least six Philippine tourist destinations can soon plan their trips better as state weather forecasters will include them in their five-day extended forecasts. On its Twitter account, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said this will be an added service that is now in the works. âAs an added service, we will start including (these areas) in our five day forecast SOON!" it said. These tourist spots are:
Vigan (Ilocos Sur)
Batangas/Anilao
Naga (Camarines Sur)
Boracay (Western Visayas)
El Nido (Palawan)
Camiguin areas (Central Visayas) In a separate tweet, PAGASA indicated it is adding Puerto Galera (Oriental Mindoro) on the list. PAGASA's five-day weather forecast is accessible via its website, but in PDF format. The present list of cities covered by the five-day forecast includes:
