V-League: Army tries to sweep San Sebastian for Open Conference crown

Philippine Army aims to sweep San Sebastian in Thursday's Game 2 of their best-of-three title series for the Shakey's V-League Open Conference crown at The Arena in San Juan City. The Lady Troopers hope to follow-up their 25-9, 25-20, 25-16 Game 1 win over the Lady Stags last Sunday and clinch the inaugural Open Conference title in the eight-year-old league. "Hopefully we can maintain or surpass the way we played in the first game," said Army coach Rico de Guzman. "We must prepare hard since we expect San Sebastian to bounce back."
