Veteran radio talent 'Lola Sela' hurt in QC accident
A veteran radio drama artist was injured and rushed to a hospital after she was hit by a taxi in Quezon City early Wednesday.
Eloisa Cruz Canlas, who gained fame as "Lola Sela Bungangera," sustained head injuries in the accident, radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported.
The incident occurred at the TriNoMa area near the corner of North Avenue and Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Quezon City.
Canlas gained popularity as a talent in radio programs from the 1960s to the 1980s, the report said. — LBG, GMA News
