Pinay receptionist molested by Jordanian driver in Dubai 

A Filipina receptionist was allegedly molested by a Jordanian driver in Dubai, a news online report said.

 

Testifying before a Dubai Criminal Court, a 21-year-old Filipina identified only as LCS was quoted by the Emirates 24/7 as saying that she was waiting for their company's representative named Amer Khalaf at their office in Media City on the night of July 20 when she was molested by a Jordanian driver identified as MTA.  

 

She said she stayed in the office on the request of her manager, Rafat Isa.

 

LCS recounted that at around 7:30 p.m., MTA showed up at their office and claimed that he will also need to wait for Khalaf.  She said she prepared coffee for MTA but that she had to remake it because he said it didn't taste good.

 

“When I was in the kitchen, he held me firmly and kissed me before I was able to push him away. Then he asked me about my salary and said he knows my manager and supervisor and that he can ask them to increase my salary. While I was walking to the reception he held my hand and tried to drag me into the supervisor’s office. I pulled my hand and walked to the reception where he again held my head with his hands and forcibly kissed me but left me when the company’s representative came in and gave me the keys of the manager’s car," she reportedly told the court.

 

On the way home, LCS said she told Khalaf about what his friend did to her, afterwhich she said she heard Khalaf call MTA and speak to him in Arabic.

 

"When I reached home I told my sister who advised me to tell my manager before lodging a police complaint. I waited until August 6 and as the manager had not come back from his travels, I complained to the police,” she said.

 

Khalaf, a 28-year-old Jordanian, testified that LCS told him about the incident and that MTA denied it when he confronted him.  On the other hand, Isa also testified that LCS complained to him that she was molested by MTA three days after the incident. — Kim Tan/RSJ, GMA News
