Search on for passengers of motor banca off Antique
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has started a search operation for at least four passengers of a motor banca that reportedly sank off Antique province on Monday morning.
Sketchy initial reports reaching Coast Guard headquarters in Manila indicated that the banca sank at about 9:00 a.m., radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported.
Citing the initial reports reaching the Coast Guard, the dzBB report said the banca sank between Sibatu Island and Semirara in Antique.
The report added the banca was crossing Sibatu and Semirara when it sank. The four passengers were not immediately identified.
