NDRRMC: Four passengers of capsized boat in Antique rescued
Four passengers of a motorized banca that capsized off Antique province Monday have been rescued, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Tuesday.
The NDRRMC's 8 a.m. update said the passengers were brought to Sibato village in Caluya town in Antique and given first aid.
It identified the four people rescued as:
According to the NDRRMC, the banca capsized while cruising between Sibato Island and Semirara town in Antique at 9 a.m. Monday.
However, they were rescued by a joint team from the Philippine National Police, Philippine Coast Guard, and Caluya local officials. - VVP, GMA News
