Four arrested in Cavite drug den raid — report
Four people were arrested in a raid on a suspected drug den in Dasmariñas town in Cavite by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives Monday morning.
PDEA agents seized P100,000 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) in the raid on the two houses in Dasmariñas town, according to a report on dzBB radio.
One of the four was arrested for drug pushing while the other three were caught having a drug session inside the house, the report said.
The suspects even tried to flush the drugs down the toilet when the PDEA agents entered the house.
The suspects denied the drugs were theirs, but were to be brought to police headquarters for further investigation.
According to the PDEA, one of its informants tried a test-buy but was told the gang would sell the drugs only at high prices. It said the gang would sell the shabu for no less than P25,000 per transaction. — KBK, GMA News
