Phivolcs: No damage reported as magnitude-3.6 quake rocks Eastern Visayas
A magnitude-3.6 quake rocked the Eastern Visayas area early Monday but there was no initial report of damage or casualty.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was recorded at 6:31 a.m. and was tectonic in origin.
In its bulletin, it said the quake's epicenter was traced to 79 kilometers southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
However, it did not immediately cite specific areas where the quake was felt.
