A Filipina is among at least three people detained in Malaysia since Jan. 31 after anti-drug authorities reportedly found "Eramin" pills in their possession.
Malaysia's The Star newspaper reported Thursday the Filipina was detained along with a Singaporean man and a local woman in Taman Austin Perdana in Johor.
“We found 1,000 'Eramin 5' pills following a search of the house,” police Commissioner Noor Rashid said.
The Star report said the Filipina and the local woman were aged between 30 and 49. The report did not identify the Filipina involved in the alleged crime.
It added police kept an eye for the Singaporean man after receiving a tip from the Singapore Central Narcotics Bureau.
The man, whose name was not mentioned in the report, is also believed involved in several house-breaking, molesting and fighting cases in Singapore.
An earlier report in The Star said "Eramin 5" is considered a psychotropic drug, which the US National Institute of Mental Health described a treatment for mental disorders. — RSJ, GMA News
