PNoy to preside over PNP command conference Monday afternoon
President Benigno Aquino III will preside over the Philippine National Police (PNP) command conference in Camp Crame, Quezon City Monday afternoon.
Some 80 PNP Command Group commanders, directorate staff, regional directors and officials of the Department of Interior and Local Government are expected to attend the meeting at 1:30 p.m.
Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jesse Robredo, DILG undersecretary Rico E. Puno and PNP chief Director General Nicanor Bartolome will receive the President at the PNP general headquarters.
Media will not be allowed to cover the command conference.
A media advisory stated that Bartolome will be giving the welcome remarks, to be followed by a briefing presentation by PNP deputy director for operations Chief Superintendent Danilo Constantino, an open forum to be facilitated by the chief of the PNP directorial staff Deputy Director General Emelito Sarmiento, and then guidance from the President. – Amita O.
