P15M destroyed in Parañaque warehouse fire
At least P15 million in property was destroyed in a fire that razed a warehouse in Parañaque City before dawn Friday.
The fire started shortly before midnight Thursday at the warehouse at Km 16 at the East Service Road in Martin de Porres village, radio dzBB's Rodil Vega reported.
No one was initially reported injured in the fire.
An initial investigation showed the warehouse contained groceries and highly combustible materials such as plastics, the report said.
City fire marshal Superintendent Manuel Manuel said the fire reached the fifth alarm before it was "confined" as of 4 a.m.
Arson investigators are still looking into what caused the fire. — LBG, GMA News
