DepEd: Monday after EDSA-1 anniv is regular school day
There will be classes and no "EDSA holiday" on Monday, the Department of Education reminded students and their parents Saturday.
In posts on its Twitter account, the DepEd stressed there will be no suspension of classes on Monday, two days after the nation marked the 26th anniversary of EDSA-1.
"The EDSA holiday will NOT be moved to Monday. February 27 is a regular school day," it said.
Earlier on Saturday, the DepEd repeatedly responded to tweeted questions on whether classes would be suspended on Monday.
The DepEd supervises classes up to the high school level.
