The husband of the Filipina who was killed in a shooting rampage at a Christian college in California is set to fly to the United States to attend to his wife’s wake and burial.   Christian Vicuña, husband of slain Filipina secretary Kathleen Ping, said he is already arranging his travel documents so that he can leave for the US at the soonest possible time.   “Ang sabi po ng US Embassy, binigay na po ang contact person na kailangan kausapin para maayos kaagad ang visa,” he said in an interview over GMA News TV’s “Balitanghali.”   He added that he had already bought tickets to the US, and is only awaiting for his visa to be approved. Vicuña said his wife’s wake and burial will be held in the US. “Hindi na po iuuwi ng Pilipinas dahil magastos po,” he said. He added that he plans to let their son, four-year-old Kayzzer, to stay with his in-laws in the US following his wife’s death.   “Alam na po niya [son] na wala na ‘yung mommy niya… Maganda na magstay na siya sa Amerika hanggang maliit pa po siya kasi rito, mahihirapan po ako ibigay ang mga pangangailangan niya,” Vicuña said.   Ping was one of the seven fatalities in the shooting spree at the Oikos University in Oakland last week. The suspected gunman, One Goh, has already been charged with murder and attempted murder. A memorial fund has already been set up to cover Ping's funeral expenses. - VVP, GMA News
