2 boys die in Cebu fire – radio report
Two boys died in a fire that hit their house in Toledo City in Cebu province shortly before midnight Friday, a radio report said Saturday.
Arson investigators suspect a toppled kerosene lamp may have caused the fire at Sitio Sinsin in Sam-ang village, Radyo Mo Nationwide reported.
Killed in the fire were two brothers initially identified as Alexander Borgador, 2; and Harvey Borgador, 5.
Initial investigation showed their mother Jovelyn left the boys inside the house to fetch her husband Alexander Sr. at a nearby store.
Arson investigators said it was possible the fire started when the kerosene lamp was tipped over. — ELR, GMA News
