Oil firms implement further price rollbacks

At least five fuel firms rolled back anew the prices of their products effective Tuesday, citing further price decreases of oil in the international market.
Eastern Petroleum, Petron, and Shell rolled back prices of their products effective 12:01 a.m., while Total and Phoenix Petroleum rolled back their prices at 6 a.m., radio dzBB reported.
Petron said its rollbacks include:
- 70 centavos per liter for premium gas;
- 90 centavos per liter for regular gas;
- 60 centavos per liter for diesel; and
- 50 centavos per liter for kerosene
“This is to reflect movements in the international oil market,” Petron said.
Shell, Total and Eastern Petroleum’s rollbacks include:
- 70 centavos per liter for premium and unleaded gas;
- 90 centavos per liter for regular gas;
- 60 centavos per liter for diesel; and
- 50 centavos per liter for kerosene.
A separate dzBB report said Phoenix Petroleum is rolling back its prices by 70 centavos per liter for regular gas and 60 centavos per liter for diesel.
Last Saturday, Flying V rolled back the prices of some of its fuel products.
It cut prices of its unleaded gas by 50 centavos per liter, and its diesel by 30 centavos per liter. –KG, GMA News
