He could smash anything in his path, yet The Hulk was helpless as a hacker took over his Twitter account – well, at least not the real Hulk.

The victim of the Twitter hack was actor Mark Ruffalo, who played the Jolly Green Giant and his mild-mannered alter-ego Bruce Banner on the smash hit “The Avengers.”

E Online reported a hacker took over his username @MRuff221 and changed it to @Mark_Ruffalo, but proceeded to post a variety of strange posts, including one that read: “The women of Hollywood sure have some great boobs. Here are the top 15!”

However, Ruffalo, 44, eventually got his account back after a fan took over his original account.

“Okay, I’m back up. The existential battle raged on my keyboard between me and my silly hacker has ended and it seems I lost @Mruff221,” he said, but eventually wrote, “Guess what. I am one and the same!! I am both identities. @mruff221 and @Mark_Ruffalo. So everyone wins.”

“They have lumped both accounts together. It’s one account both names. It has a poetic justice to it I suppose,” he added.

A separate report on The Hacker News said the hacker tweeted, “Your account hacked because passwords set very stupid LOL =)).” — RSJ, GMA News
