More oil firms roll back prices

At least six more oil firms rolled back prices of their products effective Monday, to reflect the lower prices of oil in the world market.
The rollbacks that started last weekend now cover unleaded, premium, diesel and regular gas as well as kerosene, radio dzBB reported Monday.
Chevron, Eastern Petroleum, Shell, Total and Phoenix Petroleum were among the latest firms to roll back prices of their products.
They rolled back prices of premium gas by P1.70 per liter; diesel by P1.60 per liter; and regular gas by P1.50 per liter.
However, Petron and Chevron rolled back prices of regular gas by P1.60 per liter.
Petron had announced Sunday it would roll back the prices of its fuel products at 12:01 a.m.
The price rollbacks include P1.70 per liter for premium; P1.60 per liter for Pinoy gasoline and regular gas; P1.60 per liter for diesel; and P1.50 per liter for kerosene.
Earlier Sunday, Unioil rolled back the prices of its gas and diesel products.
Unioil rolled back prices of diesel by P1.65 per liter, and gasoline by P1.50 per liter, the report said.
Earlier, prices of crude oil dropped by $6 per barrel due to lower demand, dzBB radio reported. –KG, GMA News
