Following his win over Omar Niño Romero to retain the World Boxing Organization flyweight crown, "Hawaiian Punch" Brian Viloria paid a courtesy call to Manila city officials Tuesday morning. Viloria got a warm welcome from residents and employees at City Hall before meeting with Mayor Alfredo Lim, radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported. The champ - wearing a white polo shirt and denim pants - appeared relaxed as he showed off his WBO belt, the report said. A motorcade was scheduled for later today in his honor, in major thoroughfares of the city, including Taft Avenue, Rizal Avenue, C.M. Recto Avenue, España Avenue, and Maceda Street. Viloria beat Romero Sunday via technical knock-out, to the delight of Filipino boxing fans. - AMD, GMA News
