6 hurt as grenade explodes inside Quiapo restaurant

At least six people were injured after a fragmentation grenade exploded inside a restaurant in Manila's Quiapo district shortly before midnight Wednesday.
Two of the victims were rushed to the Ospital ng Maynila for treatment even as police investigate what caused the incident, radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported.
Now confined at the hospital are Hashni Salas, 35; and Gina Bautista, 28, the report said.
Initial investigation showed the incident occurred at the restaurant at the corner of Quezon Boulevard and C.M. Recto Avenue past 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Police are verifying information some of the establishment's customers got in a fight, with one of them throwing a fragmentation grenade that exploded. –KG, GMA News
