Very proud pa rin ang mga Pinoy celebrity sa dugong Pinoy na si Jessica Sanchez dahil sa impressive performance na ipinakita niya sa finale ng American Idol Season 11 nitong Huwebes, May 24. Sa ulat ni Mark Angelo Ching na lumabas sa showbiz news online na Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.Ph), sinabi nito na maraming local celebrities na nagpaabot ng kanilang suporta kay Jessica sa pamamagitan ng Twitter. Una rito ang Kapuso singer-actor at chairman ng OPM (Organisasyon ng mga Pilipinong Mang-aawit) na si Ogie Alcasid. "Jessica! We are proud of you!" saad ni @ogiealcasid. Kasama rin sa nagpahayag ng paghanga sa 16-anyos na si Jessica ang aktres na si Iza Calzado. "Dear @JSanchezAI11 you are an amazingly talented artist. It's just a title. You can be so much more than that. Make it happen! Mabuhay Ka!," pahayag ni @MissIzaCalzado. Pinuri din ng Journey frontman na si Arnel Pineda si Jessica. "@JSanchezAI11 You did a great job and will always be a winner in our hearts," said @arnelpineda. Tinanghal na panalo sa naturang sikat na singing contest sa US si Phillip Philips. At kahit proud kay Jessica, binati rin ng singer-actress na si Zsa Zsa Padilla si Phillip. "Congratulations, Phillip Phillips. Great job, Jessica!!! Extremely proud of you!!!" sabi ni @zsazsapadilla. Para naman sa award-winning composer and musical director na si Ryan Cayabyab, si Jessica ang "champion." "PHILlIP PHILLIPS. American Idol. But Jessica will remain the champion in my heart. Congratulations to you both. It was a good season," saad ni @ryancayabyab. Ipinaabot naman ng TV host na si Bianca Gonzalez ang pagmamahal niya para kay Jessica. "i guess america isn't ready yet for an asian-latina american idol winner.. but the world is!!!! we love you @JSanchezAI11! :) #idolfinale," saad ni Bianca (@iamsuperbianca). Umaasa naman ang TV host na si Rovilson Fernandez na magpe-perform si Jessica sa Pilipinas. "Dont fret ya'll. Im sure BOTH will be performing here in Manila.
