Fil-Swiss Stockinger cops first place in Monaco GP3
Fil-Swiss Marlon Stockinger earned his maiden first place finish in a Formula One event with a winning time of 21:37.673 in the second race of the Monaco GP3 Series, Saturday. The Status Grand Prix racer began with pole position and ended on top, 0.687 seconds ahead of the second placer, Antonio da Costa of Carlin Motorsport. He also managed to log the fastest lap at 1:28.747 on his eleventh go around the course. However, racers were unable to complete all 18 laps, as American Conor Daly endured a horrendous crash that fortunately saw him escape unharmed.
