The search for two fishermen who went missing off Pangasinan last Friday ended on Monday when the two were found in Ilocos Sur province.

 

The two fishermen, both of Bolinao town in Pangasinan, were rescued in Magsingal town, Ilocos Sur Monday, according to a report on dzRH radio pm Tuesday.

 

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) earlier identified the two fishermen as Rodolfo Molina, 24; and Gringo Gagarao, 20.

 

They went fishing but had failed to return to their mother boat.

 

An NDRRMC report said the two left their mother boat aboard separate small boats at 4:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25.

 

The NDRRMC said both went about 80 nautical miles northwest of Bolinao, but failed to return after four hours. - VVP, GMA News
