Students on Twitter react to new system of class suspension
As "no classes" and "walang pasok" became trending topics on Twitter on Monday morning, students voiced their concerns about the new system of class suspension.
Some were confused by the new system, where the decision to suspend classes now lies with local government units.
With parts of Metro Manila flooded after Sunday night's heavy rain, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority noted parts of Malabon, Valenzuela and Quezon Cities were impassable to vehicles.

Marikina, San Mateo, Navotas and Malabon City announced the suspension of classes, but some local governments did not, prompting students to react on Twitter.
Some students still believed the Department of Education would announce whether or not classes will be suspended, despite new DepEd guidelines, which state the decision must come from the local government.
