June 20, 2012 8:36am

A village watchman and a student were wounded after being shot by a motorist following a traffic altercation in Quezon City Wednesday morning.

Police are now tracking a white van driven by the motorist, who sped away after the incident, radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported.

Senior Inspector Lauro Gomez of the Quezon City Police Department Station 9 said the incident occurred along Kamias Road in Quezon City.

An initial investigation showed the motorist figured in a traffic altercation with the village watchman, who was aboard a tricycle.

During their argument, the motorist allegedly drew out a handgun and shot the watchman. A stray bullet also hit a student.

Both victims were wounded while the motorist fled from the scene. — LBG, GMA News
