Singaporean caught at NAIA with 8 kg shabu

Authorities at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport arrested Friday night a Singapore national after finding him in possession of eight kilos of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu). The Singaporean, initially identified as Danny Ng, had arrived aboard a Thai Airways flight from Bangkok, radio dzBB reported Saturday. Ng yielded eight kilos of shabu shortly after his flight arrived at the NAIA Terminal 1 at about 9 p.m., the report said. He was taken in for questioning. — LBG, GMA News
