---

According to history scholars, a very small island at the mouth of Manila Bay served as our last bastion against Japanese invaders during World War 2. Americans called it Fort Drum, the "unsinkable battleship", otherwise known as El Fraile.  The island was converted into a military facility by Amercans, where cannons bigger than those in Corregidor were installed.

After more than 70 years, what has become of this famous Fort?

Find out what's left of El Fraile. Join Kara David as she braves high waters to rediscover the glory that was El Fraile.

"El Fraile" airs this Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11:30 pm in I-Witness.
