Hill's agent, Kevin Bradbury, told Yahoo Sports that the two parties have agreed upon a two-year, $8 million deal, and that "Jordan [Hill] was excited about the fact that Steve Nash decided to join the Lakers and the prospect of winning a championship in LA." The 24-year-old was traded to the Lakers prior to the deadline last March from the Houston Rockets. He saw just seven games in the remainder of the 2011-12 regular season, averaging 4.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.7 steals and 0.9 blocks, but produced when given minutes. He had a 14-point, 15-rebound, 3-block outing against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and an 8-point, 8-rebound outing against the San Antonio Spurs in the last two games of the season. In the playoffs, his numbers bumped up to 4.8 points and 6.3 rebounds, but again gave a good account of himself when called upon by the team, producing two double-double nights versus the Lakers' first round opponents, the Denver Nuggets. Hill is expected to partner with new signee Antawn Jamison, as the Lakers' reserve forwards. - AMD, GMA NewsBradbury: "Jordan was excited about the fact that Steve Nash decided to join the Lakers and the prospect of winning a championship in LA."
