DLSU College of Law, Lex Societas hold post-impeachment forum

The De La Salle University College of Law and Lex Societas conducted a forum that discussed the pertinent issues surrounding the impeachment of former Chief Justice Renato Corona.
The issues tackled included the bank accounts of former CJ Corona, the upcoming selection of the next Chief Magistrate, and the matter of where the Republic is heading.

Several speakers were invited to discuss their points of view regarding the impeachment, the replacement, and the direction towards which the country is heading. The speakers included broadcast journalist and 2012 Marshall McLuhan Fellow, Lynda Jumilla; political analyst and founder of PUBLiCUS ASIA, Malou Tiquia; defense counsels Attys. Karen Jimeno and Judd Roy; Cong. Neri Colmenares, who was part of the prosecution team; and academe representative to the Judicial and Bar Council, Atty. Jose Mejia.
DLSU College of Law Dean, Atty. Jose Manuel Diokno gave the opening remarks while Vice Dean Atty. Rosario Olivas-Gallo closed the event.
