Filipino-Australian Marco Selorio will lead the largest ever Australian national hip hop dance delegation to the 2012 World Hip Hop Dance Championship in Las Vegas, United States from August 1 to 5.   The Australian delegation is formed by a hundred members from various dance groups from all over Australia like Clockwork, Method Crew and Runway, to name a few, the news site “The Filipino Australian said.   Queensland-based Runway reached the semi-finals in last year's competition. . Selorio, who manages the 100-strong delegation, said he feels good about the national team, "our biggest Australian delegation to date. I have high hopes for our Australian dance crews." They will be among 34 countries to participate in the championship Even though the team will be "up against the best in the world, our Aussie team members have that strong fighting spirit and we will do our very best,” Selorio said. Australia is eyeing to beat its fourth place records in 2007 and 2008, set by dance crew KSTAR, barely missing out on medals for those years. Selorio noted that their chemistry has been a challenge to them but they are prepared for glory, saying "we are ready, united and aiming for that elusive gold.” Aside from managing the Australian delegation, Selorio is the CEO and founder of Hoopdreamz, a company promoting basketball.
