QC, San Mateo, Rodriguez Aug 6 classes suspended; La Mesa near spilling

(Updated 2:19 a.m., 6 August 2012) According to a GMA News tweet, the Quezon City Mayor’s Office has suspended Monday, August 6 classes. The suspension applies from kindergarten to high school levels.

San Mateo, Rizal has followed suit, suspending public school classes also from kindergarten to high school levels.

Meanwhile, Rodruiguez, Rizal Mayor Cecilio Hernandez suspended August 6 classes at all levels (Preschool-College) for both public and private schools. 

Meanwhile, according to Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration-Flood Forecasting and Warning Section, the La Mesa dam in Quezon City had a water level of 80.14 meters as of 1 a.m. La Mesa's spilling level is 80.15 m.
