After being forced to suspend operations for three days, the United States Embassy in Manila will finally resume operations on Friday, with its consular section opening at 7:30 a.m.

 

With the weather finally improving, the US Embassy said in a post on its Facebook account that it and its affiliated services will be open Friday.

 

"The Consular Section will open at 7:30 a.m., and all other Embassy sections will open at 10:00 a.m.," it said.

The embassy was forced to suspend operations Tuesday and Wednesday due to bad weather conditions - heavy rain that brought floods to Metro Manila and nearby areas.

 

While the embassy initially said it would reopen on Thursday, bad weather conditions late Wednesday forced it to suspend its operations for Thursday. — ELR, GMA News
