Yellow ribbons tied at Robredo home in Naga as search enters 4th day

Yellow ribbons were tied around the compound of the house of missing Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo in Bicol, as the search for him and two pilots following a plane crash off Masbate entered its fourth day Tuesday.

This coincided with the 29th death anniversary of former Sen. Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., whose son incumbent President Benigno Aquino III is a close friend of Robredo, radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported.
 
Supporters of the Robredos as well as residents in Naga City remain hopeful Robredo will eventually be found and rescued, the report added.

On Monday, President Aquino met with the family of Robredo in Naga City to update them on the search efforts, before Aquino flew back to Metro Manila.
 
Aquino had spent two days in Masbate to personally supervise the search efforts for Robredo, who with two others remained missing since Saturday.
 
Still missing along with Robredo are pilot Jessup Bahinting and co-pilot Hshitiz Chand.
 
Only Robredo's aide, Senior Inspector June Paulo Abrasado, was rescued from the plane shortly after it crashed off Masbate. –KG, GMA News
