3 killed, 2 wounded in Valenzuela City massacre
Three minors, including a one-month-old baby, were fatally stabbed while two others were wounded and rushed to a hospital in a predawn massacre in Valenzuela City Wednesday. Police investigators have taken in for questioning a household helper of the victims, according to a report on dzBB radio. Killed in the massacre were a one-month-old baby, a 15-year-old girl, and a six-year-old boy. They were not immediately named. Two were wounded, with one Berna Castro rushed to the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center in Manila, and John Castro, rushed to the Valenzuela Medical Center. Initial investigation showed the incident occurred inside the victims' house at St. Joseph Street in Malinta village in Valenzuela City at about 3 a.m. Police are now questioning a supposed household helper initially identified as Jeffrey Torla.
