Naga folk stream to city hall to pay Robredo final respects
Even during the early-morning hours, the citizenry of Naga City continued to flock to their City Hall in order to pay their final respects to their late, former mayor Jesse Robredo.
Robredo's remains were brought to his native Naga City from Malacañang Palace last Sunday.
The wake was scheduled to be transferred to the Basilica Minore de Peñafrancia at 8 a.m. A bulletin from Malacañang said the vigil at City Hall was to end at 7 a.m., in time for the transfer to the basilica.

The route of the transfer will pass Miranda Ave., Panganiban, Rotonda, Roxas Ave. (Diversion), Tabuco Bridge, Gen. Luna, left Abella, J.P. Rizal, Queborac, M.T. Villanueva, Magsaysay Bridge, and Balatas.
The public viewing and vigil will resume at 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., when the archdiocese will offer a Mass for Robredo.

Robredo died in a plane crash in Masbate last Aug. 18. The crash also killed the plane's pilot and co-pilot. Robredo's aide was the only survivor of the crash. — DVM, GMA News
