Parts of Roxas Boulevard closed to traffic Saturday for CSC fun run
Parts of Roxas Boulevard in Manila will be closed to traffic early Saturday for the Civil Service Commission's fun run, the Manila city government said.
In posts on Mayor Alfredo Lim's social networking accounts, the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit said the closure for "R.A.C.E. to Serve II" will start 5 a.m.
To be closed is the stretch of Roxas Boulevard, both north- and southbound lanes, from Katigbak to the city limit at P. Ocampo (Vito Cruz), it said on Lim's Twitter account.
Under the rerouting scheme, vehicles coming from the northern part of Manila, the Pier area and Anda Circle should turn left at P. Burgos, right Ma. Orosa, right T.M. Kalaw, left M.H. del Pilar, left Quirino, right Mabini to Harrison.
They may also use Taft Avenue to get to their point of destination, it added.
On the other hand, vehicles coming from southern part of Manila shall turn right P. Ocampo to point of destination.
All vehicles traveling westbound at President Quirino shall turn left at Adriatico, right P. Ocampo, left FB Harrison to point of destination.
The rerouting scheme was also posted on Lim's Facebook account. — LBG, GMA News
